Salmon Pie
Ingredients
- 2 Onion medium, chopped
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- ¼ cup Butter melted, divided
- ½ cup Breadcrumbs fresh
- ⅓ cup Cheese, Parmesan
- Pie Dough
- 3 Egg hard boiled
- 1 can Salmon drained
- ⅓ cup Dill chopped
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 Egg Yolk
- ¼ tsp Salt
Instructions
- Sauté onion and garlic in 1 tbsp butter
- Combine breadcrumbs and cheese.
- Divide dough in half make bottom crust.
- Sprinkle with half crumb mix, onion mix, all the egg, salmon and dill then remaining onion mix and crumb mix
- Drizzle with remaining 2 tbsp butter and spread with sour cream combine with egg yolks and salt
- Roll out top dough brush pastry with egg mix, cut slits to allow steam to escape
- Bake at 375°F for 1 hour, until pastry is golden, wait 10 minutes before cutting
Notes
Refrigerate bottom crust until ready to stop it from sticking
